Speed ​​climbing course

This intensive weekend course is designed for both climbers who want to get started in speed climbing and for specialists in the discipline.

The course will be taught by three specialists from the national speed climbing team, with extensive international experience: Unax Uterga, Miguel Gómez and Alex Rivas.

This is for climbers who want to get started in speed climbing as well as for specialists in the discipline.

CANCELLATIONS:
a) Cancellation made 8 days before the start of the course or activity will result in a loss of 30%.
b) Cancellation made 5 days before the start of the course or activity will result in a loss of 60%.
c) Failure of the interested party to appear at the start of the course or activity, or absence during the course or activity, will result in the loss of 100% of the total price of the course or activity.
In case of refund, the bank charges will be borne by the participant.

Content

INITIATION GROUP

  • Basic techniques and specific warm-up
  • Progressive control of the official route
  • I work on sequencing and gestural coordination

TECHNIFICATION GROUP

  • Advanced warm-up adapted to speed
  • Detailed analysis of technique and movements
  • Pattern correction and fluency improvement
  • Personalized video analysis
  • Tools for the participant to self-evaluate their gesture and progress on their own

Objectives

Beginner group: Designed for beginners in this discipline. Participants are guided to acquire the basic fundamentals, learn the official sequence, and avoid common mistakes from the start.
Technical training group: Aimed at experienced climbers seeking to enhance their technical performance, the objective is to develop participants' ability to identify and correct their own errors, fostering continuous and independent improvement in their technique and movement execution.

Course phases

The course offers a total of approximately 8,5 practical hours spread over three sessions during the weekend.

Saturday August 23:

Group 1 (morning): 9:00 – 11:30

Group 2 (morning): 11:30 – 14:00

Group 1 (afternoon): 15:00 – 17:00

Group 2 (afternoon): 17:00 – 19:00

Sunday August 24:

Groups 1 and 2: 10:00 – 14:00

At the end of the course, there will be an option to stay for an informal meal (not included).
