Sputnik Climbing is a commitment to climbing. We explore the educational potential of our activity and use it to... acquire values, attitudes and experiences. Another unavoidable challenge for our team is to pass on this knowledge to the climbers of the future. respect for the environment and fragile ecosystems.

Optimism
Embedded in the DNA of climbers. An essential condition for climbing.
Nobody ties themselves to the rope without a great deal of optimism. We climbers know that things are going to turn out alright. And here the game begins.
Equality
For everyone and everything. Climbing is a sport for older people, young people, and children. It's a sport for girls and boys. For mothers, fathers, and their children. Strength, flexibility, balance, confidence, mental control, imagination, intuition, experience… Each one exploits their strengths and improves their weaknesses.
Overcoming
Collaboration, not competition. Climbing is a sport where winning doesn't mean your partner loses. This means your partner wins too. Cultivating the desire to improve is just as important as building trust in your rope partner. It's teamwork that isn't against anyone, it's for yourself. We train to climb better, not to win.
Environmental awareness
We have the privilege of climbing in some of the most wonderful natural spaces in existence. We also have the responsibility to take care of them. It is within our power to respect our natural environment. It is a fragile balance and every climber must take awareness and initiative in their climbing schools and on their mountains.

- Preparation of dishes.
Requirements
- Training in cooking, hospitality or similar.
- Previous work experience.

Room staff
Showtimes:
- In-room service
- Direct customer service.
- Cashier duties and cash reconciliation at the end of the day.
- Coordination of the rest of the team.

- Patience.
- Experience in a similar position.
- Basque language skills will be valued.

Customer service
We take care of every person who walks through the door, calls us, or writes to us (an email, a review, a WhatsApp message, even a telegram!). The main mission of the customer service team is to provide friendly service, anticipate the concerns and needs of each visitor, be resourceful, and assist them whenever necessary.

- User support and advice.
- Customer acquisition and retention.
- Sale of company products or services.
- Training of new profiles.
Requirements:
- Being very good at dealing with the public.
- To have more patience than Saint Job.
- Training in Administration and Finance will be valued, as well as speaking and understanding Basque.

Technical team
The climbing instructors are the heart and soul of the climbing wall and are also responsible for the safety of the users, sharing their experience, spreading their passion for the mountains, and conveying the need to respect and care for our natural environment.
Profiles we need:
The group instructors are passionate about climbing and working with people. They are responsible for transmitting the values of this sport to adults and children through activities, games, and events organized at Sputnik Climbing.

Climbing Instructor
Showtimes:
- Ensure safety at the climbing wall.
- Monitor user aptitude and correct negligence.
- Assisting users with technical issues, gestures, equipment questions…
- Management of training groups and indoor climbing instructor.
- Inventory and follow material replacement protocols.
- Support for the route setting team
Requirements
- Qualification as a mid-level (TD2) or higher (TD3) sports technician in Climbing.
- Experience working with groups.
- First aid training.
- Good teaching skills.
- Experience in routesetting.
- Speaking and understanding Basque and English will be valued.
- Experience and training in working with people with disabilities will be valued.
- Previous experience in a similar position will be valued.

Technical personnel for activities
Showtimes:
- Providing support for group activities (team building, educational centers, etc.).
- To energize scheduled activities within the facility.
- Ensure the safety of the climbing wall.

- Knowledge of Basque.
- Speaking and understanding English will be valued.
